Find your terminal model

Match the model your team uses. Every link below opens a released WND Terminal profile with its current scope and limits. Specialty and scoped models run in the desktop app; browser coverage currently applies to supported IBM and VT profiles.

Match the terminal and the licensed client

WND Terminal's reviewed inventory lists the established profiles and the scoped model profiles in the current tagged release. Rocket Secure Host Access brings together desktop and web clients from Reflection, InfoConnect and Host Access for the Cloud. Its desktop installer enables terminal types through activation files. Confirm the exact Rocket client, activation and tier in your estate rather than assuming every family runs in every Secure Host Access client.

Make the switch with evidence

Prove the replacement before renewal

Start with your actual estate, then work through the applications that make a terminal change hard.

01

Inventory what runs

Use the migration readiness report to find sessions, keymaps and likely compatibility work. Import supported IBM and VT sessions; configure specialty profiles from their host settings.

02

Test a real workday

Run a free proof of value with your users and hosts. Check terminal keys, screens, printers, transfers, macros and sign-on against agreed success criteria.

03

Take a defensible proposal to procurement

Compare your actual Rocket quote and licensed add-ons with a WND Terminal plan. Include migration effort and the functions your teams will gain, not only the license line.

Pricing source and scope

Rocket’s commissioned September 2025 Forrester study models 2,400 Enterprise users, with annual license costs of $504,000, $539,000 and $577,000. That averages $225 per user per year across three years. WND Terminal Enterprise is $75 per user per year: one third of that average.

The study uses a composite organization, assumed annual increases and its own discount. It is not a current Rocket quote. WND Terminal’s base comparison assumes a locked multi-year price and excludes separately quoted add-ons. Desktop is $69 per user per year; Enterprise is $75. Minimum 100 users. Plans and licensing →

Reviewed October 20, 2026. WND Terminal automation and governance features follow the published 1.0.308 release. Terminal coverage on this page follows the tagged releases and exact limitations in the supported-systems inventory. WND Terminal’s AI endpoint and action policy are chosen by IT. Browser access needs the customer-hosted gateway. Optional API, host-connected testing, OData and approval products have separate entitlements; WND Test uses the 3270 engine; replay-only runs are free.

Questions

Does WND Terminal support my exact Rocket terminal model?

Start with the linked model profiles and their published limits. WND Terminal covers IBM 3270 and 5250, VT, Unisys T27 and UTS, HP 3000, NonStop 6530, airline ALC and scoped Wyse, IBM 3151 and ANSI models. A proof of value checks your host, keys, printer and workflow before a commitment.

Does the $75 WND Terminal Enterprise price include every optional product?

No. The published Enterprise plan is $75 per user per year for 100 or more users. REST APIs, host-connected testing, OData screen tables and privileged-action approvals have separate entitlements. We will compare your complete WND Terminal proposal with your Rocket quote.

Can we bring Rocket sessions and macros?

WND Terminal provides a migration readiness report and importers for supported IBM and VT sessions. Specialty connections use their host settings, and existing macros should be tested during the proof of value.

Prove WND Terminal on your real hosts.

Bring your Rocket configuration, critical screens and devices. We will agree on success criteria and show the replacement working before you commit.

How should we evaluate WND Terminal against Rocket Secure Host Access?

Start with the exact host protocol, deployment and workflows covered by your current product. Have a user complete sign-on, an ordinary transaction, a rejected entry and cancellation with the familiar keys. Test printing, file transfer and actual automation separately where used. For browser delivery, include gateway and identity administration in the comparison; for an application-modernization project, include the required interface work. A successful connection alone does not establish an equivalent replacement.

Check WND Terminal’s supported profiles and limits, current plan scope and pricing, and the migration evaluation steps.
